iOS device owners in India can now buy apps and other content from the App Store in Indian Rupees. This is great news and comes right before the launch of iPhone 5 in India as app buyers won’t be subjected to conversion or other charges since the purchase will be charged in the local currency.
In addition to Indian Rupees, Apple has also added support for 7 other currencies like Russian Ruble, Turkish Lira, Indonesian Rupiah, Israeli Shekel, Saudi Arabian Riyal, South African Rand, and Emirati Dirham.
