Nintendo today revealed the pricing and availability of its next-generation gaming console for its home market. Japanese gamers will be able to pick the Nintendo Wii U from December 8, just in time for the holiday season. The Wii U will be sold in two sets – Basic Set and Premium Set. The Basic Set will set consumers back by 26,250 yen that will include a white Wii U 8GB console, one GamePad, stylus, HDMI cable and Wii U and GamePad adapters.
The Premium Set on the other hand, comes in black hue with the same set of contents as Basic but expands the Wii U storage to 32GB and includes Wii U console stand and a GamePad cradle and a stand. Premium Set will sell for 31,500 yen.
Couple of games that will be available on launch day will be New Super Mario Bros. U for 5,985 yen Nintendo Land for 4,935 yen.
