The last Nexus device to be revealed at the Google I/O is the Nexus Q. It is not a phone, not a tablet and not even a phablet. In fact, it’s a streaming media player and it’s completely social. Nexus Q relies on user and his peers to fuel the data which can be streamed from their phones or tablets directly to the HDTV or a connected audio system.
As for Nexus Q’s hardware prowess, the device is powered by dual-core TI OMAP4460 processor, 1GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. Additionally, it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and even 32RPB perimeter LEDs.
Nexus Q can be purchased from Google’s Play Store for $299.
