Reliance Communications has entered into a collaboration with Google to promote Android devices sold in India. Touted as India’s first operator to tie up with Google, the collaboration will last two years where Reliance will promote the devices with their 3G network.
To start off, Reliance has announced a scheme valid till June 15, 2012 where they’ll give Android users 1GB of free data for the first month. A nice way for Reliance to make users try out their service but even better for consumers to hog a gigabyte of data for cheap.
