Just as Google promised, Indian Android users can now buy paid apps. Accessing the Android market shows a variety of paid apps, which can now be bought. The prices shown are in Rs. so users don’t have to convert the prices every time they want to buy an app.

Another 17 countries are expected to get Paid Apps over the next 2 weeks.
