In an SEC filing, Nokia has confirmed that they’ll pay its current CEO, Stephen Elop a sum of more than $6m as compensation for lost income. Nokia paid about $3.18m in October 2010 and will pay $3m more in October 2011 to Elop for moving from Microsoft.
The filing also revealed Elop’s gross base salary which is pegged at 1.05m euros, about 0.13m euros less than Nokia’s previous CEO, Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo.
