Sony sues LG, wants to block mobile phone sales in US

Sony has confirmed that they’ve filed a patent infringement complaint with the US International Trade Commission against LG. The complaint filed late Wednesday says LG violated its patents as well as its licensees like Sony Ericsson, Samsung and Nokia by importing mobile phones and modems in United States.
Although LG denied to comment on the litigation, Sony says the patents are related to technologies used in phones like audio, microphone, caller ID and transmission power.
