Google may have released Nexus S with the latest Android 2.3 update but that doesn’t mean they’re ignoring their maiden Nexus device. Google on their official twitter account has confirmed that Nexus One owners can expect the over-the-air update.

While Google didn’t say the exact date they did confirm to roll out in the coming weeks, which means look out for some time in January next year.

Nexus One will mostly be the second device to run the latest Android 2.3 OS.
