LG has announced that its cheapest Android 2.2 running phone has surpassed sales of 2 million units. LG says the first million took about 40 days but the next million sold in just 20 days. The phone has been getting good reception in regions like United States and South Korea where they’ve sold about 1.3m and 450,000 units respectively. In Europe and CIS/Asia, LG has sold about 200,000 and 50,000 units.
LG also confirmed that the Optimus One will receive Android 2.3 in the coming months.
