Samsung India has a press event for Galaxy Tab later today but it seems the pre-booking has already begun. The site suggests that Samsung’s first Android tablet will go for a pricey Rs.38,000 and is currently allowing interested users to pre-book the device by paying Rs.1000 upfront. An incentive for pre-booking is that the first 1000 pre-bookers will get a Bluetooth headset worth Rs.3500 free. However, if you’re unsure about the purchase, Samsung is also providing an opportunity to book a demo before taking a decision.

As for the release, Samsung’s site says “in 12 days from now” which means it can very well reach the consumers by November 10.
