Samsung today has announced the Indian pricing and availability of its Android-based tablet. Galaxy Tab will reach stores on November 10 and will sell for a hefty Rs.38,000. It will be interesting to see how many Samsung will manage to sell considering its steep price.
To reiterate, Galaxy Tab is Samsung’s first Android tablet and a decent competitor to take on the iPad. It features Android 2.2 OS, 7-inch WSVGA display, 1GHz CPU, Wi-Fi, 3G support, voice calling functionality, Bluetooth, 3MP rear-facing camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, microSD card slot and 4,000mAh battery.
You can pre-book the device for Rs.1,000.
