Garmin-Asus might be a month late but they’ve finally launched their first Android powered device for the Indian market. It’s the Garmin-Asus A10 that runs Android 2.1 OS (will be upgradeable to Android 2.2 (Froyo) and offers exceptional navigation features we’re used to see in a Garmin device.
The phone is pre-loaded with India maps and supports turn-by-turn navigation, professional pedestrian navigation and comes with additional GPS-based services like Ciao, Flight Status, Weather Status etc.
As for the other hardcore specs, the phone has 3G support, 600MHz Qualcomm 7227 CPU, 512MB RAM, 512MB ROM, 4GB flash memory, 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display, A-GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, 5MP camera, microSD card slot and 1500mAh battery.
It will sell for Rs.18,990.
