Garmin-Asus to launch Android-based phone in India

We’ve got word that Garmin-Asus will be releasing a new Android-based smartphone with navigational capabilities in India soon. It will be Garmin-Asus’ first Android device for the Indian market and will be launched sometime in the fourth week of this month.

We don’t know the model number yet but it will run Android 2.1 OS, feature 4GB internal memory, 5MP camera and the same GPS capabilities as M10 like navigation with street view, CIAO and Panoramio services.

As for the price it will be priced somewhere in between Rs.20,000 to Rs.22,000.
