To be honest, this was on the horizon but the only thing we weren’t certain was its supposed released date. Someone at a Hong Kong forum has posted an image of an upcoming HTC device that is claimed to be Desire HD or simply a GSM version of Evo. The purported specs are similar too – like the 4.3-inch display, 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, 8MP camera, 720p HD video recording, Android 2.2 Froyo, SRS audio technology, Adobe Flash 10.1, microSD card slot and more.

The site claims the launch will be sometime in October.
