Google has officially rolled out the Android 2.2 Froyo update for Nexus One users. Users will receive the Froyo goodness over-the-air after a message on the notification bar appears prompting you to update.

Android 2.2 is not a regular point update since it adds lots of improvements. New features include improved performance, faster web browsing, Adobe Flash 10.1, ability to turn phone into mobile hotspot and more.

All users will receive the update by end of this week.
