Nintendo’s 3D equipped 3DS could be one mean machine if IGN’s report is to be believed. As per few developers who spoke to IGN (off the record obviously) claimed that the console’s “processing capabilities far exceed the Nintendo Wii and bring the device with abilities that are close to HD consoles such as PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.”

Being powerful more than Wii is somewhat acceptable but being compared to PS3 and Xbox 360 on the graphics front means Nintendo does have something powerful up their sleeve.

Needless to say, we’ll know it if the claims are true or not at the E3 expo next week.
