Motorola Milestone XT720: slimmest 8MP Android phone with Xenon flash

Motorola has just made Milestone XT720 official that takes Android devices to a whole new level. It’s one of the slimmest Android devices – measuring just 8.9mm – and sports an 8 megapixel camera and Xenon flash. Moreover, it also supports 720p HD video recording and comes with a bundled HDMI cable for you to enjoy recorded HD videos on the big TV.
It runs Android 2.1 and features a 3.7-inch (480 x 854 FWVGA) touchscreen display, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, FM Radio, Google services support, microSD card slot and 1390mAh battery giving up to 9 hours of talk time on 2G and 4.5 hours on 3G.
Despite a decent feature set, the only downer is its processor speed. According to Engadget, it has an ARM Cortex A8 CPU clocked at 550MHz, which is a bit slow by today’s smartphone standards. However, it does have acceptable ROM and RAM of 512MB and 256MB respectively.
