Steve Ballmer keynote speech at IndiMix reveals 30 new Windows Phones coming in Q3

Steve Ballmer at IndiMix 2010

Steve Ballmer was in Mumbai today to deliver his keynote speech at the IndiMix 2010. While his address was basically to give a gist of web technologies to designers and developers, one slide showcasing Microsoft’s milestones on the web caught our attention.

According to it, 50 Windows Phone models were launched last year and will launch about 30 new models in the coming quarter. That’s more than half from a single quarter alone. It did not reveal what OS will power the new devices but we do hope to see something running Windows Phone 7. We’re not sure but LG’s Panther could be on the cards since it’s been claimed to feel more close to a finish product.
