Looks like Asus is gearing up to release a new 3D notebook in the third quarter of this year. While the details on the new notebook is still a mystery, Digitimes claims that number of 3D panel makers want to do some business with the Taiwanese notebook maker.
Chimei Innolux Corporation (CMI), Samsung Electronics and LG Display (LGD) are in the race to provide a 17-inch 3D display panel.
Asus already has G51J 3D notebook in the market that features a 15.6-inch 3D LCD and supports Nvidia’s 3D Vision technology.
