WD launches My Passport AV drives optimized for video playback

Western Digital has introduced a new USB HDD that is claimed to be a perfect solution for users who want to store and view video content from their portable drives. The 320GB My Passport AV is optimized in such a way that it stays at normal temperatures in a hot environment, operates quietly, consumes less power and streams smooth videos.
This WD drive supports lots of devices like WD’s range of TV media players, PS3 or Xbox 360 and even range of Sony camcorders. The Direct Copy feature present in Sony handycams also work flawlessly thus, eliminating the use of PC while copying content.
The My Passport AV will come with a 2-year limited warranty for $110.
