Asus talked, showed their e-book reader creations and now they deem CeBIT as the right place to make it official. They’ve unwrapped DR-900, a 9-inch reader that boasts Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity options and a huge battery life of up to 10,000 pages worth of reading before you’ll need to find a power slot.
Other things that Asus has confirmed is its internal storage, which will be able to store up to 4GB of content and will support variety of formats like ePUB, PDF, TXT and MP3. The reader also includes a headphone jack and a touchscreen interface that clearly looks to be finger-friendly.
Asus has kept mum on its price and availability but if previous hints are any indication, we’ll see this retailing at a pocket-friendly price.
