CrunchPad

Contrary to the speculation which we’ve been hearing, Techcrunch’s Arrington has revealed that the CrunchPad is still under development. The revelation came at the Gillmor Gang videocast where Arrington said that “CrunchPad is steamrolling” and that “they’re working on UI” to make it perfect.

As for the price, Arrington maintained that its CrunchPad will still remain in the promised price range, which is about $300-400 but will be supported by “soft revenues that will not hamper user experience”. For instance, CrunchPads might come loaded with a default search bar that will allow them to earn a fixed amount of share for every query searched.

You can watch the whole episode below but if only CrunchPad info interests you, start the vid from around 38:50.
