At an event in Milan, Samsung introduced two new additions to the Corby family – the CorbyTXT aka B3210 which was shown at the IFA and CorbyPRO (B5310). Belonging to the Corby range, the phones bear the same trendy and colorful design that Samsung thinks will appeal to the younger generation.
The CorbyTXT is a simple candybar QWERTY phone targeted at heavy texters. CorbyTXT features a 2.2-inch QCIF resolution display, Cartoon UI, 2MP camera, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, microSD card slot and FM Radio. CorbyTXT will be out in most European countries by end of September.
The CorbyPRO is somewhat an upgraded solution to satisfy your social networking needs. It comes with a quad-band GSM connectivity, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display, 3MP camera, 3.5mm earphone jack, GPS, microSD card slot, Bluetooth, dedicated music keys and FM Radio with RDS. The CorbyPRO will first make its way to Europe in November followed by other countries.
