In addition to the Xperia X2, Sony also unveiled couple of more products, namely the VAIO X series ultraportable notebook and a pocketable MHS-PM1 HD camera. Sony Europe’s Fujio Nishida did the honor to show the new VAIO but unfortunately was mum on its intrinsic details. The only things known about the VAIO X are that it has an 11.1-inch screen, has a black carbon fiber chassis, weighs less than 1.5 pounds, has 3G and an all day long battery. Yup, that’s about it.
On the other hand, MHS-PM1 was graced with a full press release and as you must’ve guessed, it tries to take on the Flip clan. PM1 can take full HD videos at 30fps in MP4 format and also features a 5MP camera sensor to allow users to take high resolution pictures. An advantage that PM1 enjoys over other portable HD cameras is that it integrates a 270 degree rotating swiveling lens. There’re dedicated buttons for video and still pictures, 4x digital zoom, Picture Motion Browser (PMB) and a MS PRO Duo memory slot.
