Sony VAIO X notebook

Well, it’s not as slim as Dell’s newest wonder but Sony’s X Series does take the crown for the world’s lightest notebook. Weighing just 655g, VAIO X is perfect blend of style and performance. VAIO X’s body is crafted from light carbon fibre and comes with an 11.1-inch display, ULV processor, SSD that effectively gives about 8 hours of battery life or double of that with an extended one.

Other things it boasts are multi-touch touchpad, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, USB ports, Memory Stick and SD card reader, mic and a webcam.

VAIO X Series notebooks will make its way out from Oct 22, 2009.
