The world’s cheapest car will be on the Indian roads as early as July. Tata Motors have announced the allotment of the first 100,000 Nanos that will be delivered from the month of July and could extend up to the last quarter of 2010. That’s a lot of time but you’ve to be patient if you want to drive the world’s cheapest car.
Tata also selected around 55k retainees who have chosen to get the car at a little higher price and will be delivered after the first 100,000 owners receive their Nanos. Since the deliveries could take more time, Tata is offering an interest of 8.5% on the booking amount till the delivery of the car (if within two years) or 8.75% for a more than 2 year wait.
