LG Electronics has excitedly announced that its affordable touchscreen Cookie phone has garnered over two million unit sales since it was first released in October last year.

The price and the features of a premium touch phone found in Cookie are contributed as the reasons for its success. LG Cookie’s worldwide sales account consists of 1.2 million in Europe, 600,000 in Asia and Latin America and over 100,000 in Korea, making it the most popular handset in its hometown.

LG is now looking for a 10 million milestone and plans to release it in 20 more countries.
