D3O Gel filled helmet

It’s not the first time we have seen UK’s Ministry of Defense looking for new offense and defensive tools to fight on the warfront. This time, they have contracted a UK based company to produce gel-filled helmets that can increases the chances to save a soldier’s life when a bullet is aimed at the head. The D30 shock-absorbing gel looks like an orange jelly that will be integrated in the helmet itself. When a bullet hits the helmet, the gooey gel will start contracting to transform in a solid form, thus, stopping the bullet in its track.
