Kingston has announced their entry in the SSD market by revealing the SSDNow E and SSDNow M series SSDs. The drives are a rebadged version of Intel SSDs and Kingston reckons its 24X7 support and a 3 year warranty will set the drives apart from its competitors.
The 32GB E is aimed at the server market and hence offers faster read/write speed, which clocks at 250/170 MB/s. On the other hand, 80GB M is targeted at home users and has a read/write speed of up to 250/70 MB/s.
These drives will sell for $839 (32GB) and $762 (80GB) and carry a 3-year warranty.
