UPDATE: N79 & N85 officially announced.

The phones which are supposed to be officially unveiled tomorrow have got a premature release today. The phones, N79 and N85 are bound to take up the baton from N78 and N81 respectively. Starting with the N79, this one ups the ante into photography department to 5 megapixel with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash. It will have Symbian 60 OS with FP2 with most of the features running will be the same as N78. It’s been reported that this time, Nokia will bundle the phone with 4GB memory card as compared to 2GB with the predecessor.

N85 bears a striking resemblance with N81 as most of its design has been taken from the old device. The slider will feature a rich 2.6-inch OLED QVGA screen with a resolution of 240X320 pixels. This phone will also have N-Gage dedicated keys near the speakers and will come with 10 preloaded N-Gage titles, out of which 1 can be licensed for free. GPS, HSDPA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are present and also a Carl Zeiss 5 megapixel optics. 8GB microSD card will be bundled instead of making it available as internal memory.

The price nor availability is uncertain at this moment but will be clear after the announcement tomorrow.
