Asus seems to be expanding the NUC lineup faster than Intel did and the Taiwanese company has now announced the NUC 15 Pro aimed at customers looking for “AI model training to data visualization.”
The new NUC is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra (Series 2) processors that offer an 18% performance boost over previous-gen processors and up to 99 TOPS for AI performance. For the uninitiated, TOPS stands for Tera Operations per Second, a new metric to measure the AI capability of a computer. The higher the TOPS, the better the machine is to handle AI workloads.
In terms of the rest of the hardware, the NUC 15 Pro supports DDR5 6400MHz RAM, Intel Arc graphics, and superior connectivity options like Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and HDMI 2.1 and Thunderbolt 4 support to drive up to four 4K displays.
Asus has not confirmed the pricing or the availability of the device.
