Apple has unveiled the latest MacBook Air models, available in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes, powered by the cutting-edge M3 chip. With the M3 chip, the MacBook Air boasts up to a 60% increase in speed compared to the M1 model and is a staggering 13 times faster than the fastest Intel-based MacBook Air. Additionally, with a revamped Neural Engine, the M3-equipped MacBook Air maintains its status as the world’s premier consumer laptop for AI tasks.

Both the 13- and 15-inch MacBook Air models feature an elegant and lightweight design, offering up to 18 hours of battery life. The devices come with Liquid Retina displays, support for up to two external monitors, and up to twice the Wi-Fi speed of previous models. The MacBook Air’s durable aluminum enclosure is available in four colours: midnight, starlight, space gray, and silver.

Utilizing cutting-edge 3-nanometer technology, the M3 chip delivers even greater performance and efficiency. Featuring an impressive 8-core CPU, up to a 10-core GPU, and support for up to 24GB of unified memory, the new MacBook Air ensures lightning-fast performance across various tasks, from everyday productivity to demanding photo and video editing.

Furthermore, the M3 chip enables immersive gaming experiences with support for hardware-accelerated mesh shading and ray tracing. It also enhances video streaming with its latest media engine, supporting AV1 decode for higher-quality playback.

The M3 chip’s superiority is evident in various scenarios:
– Game titles like No Man’s Sky run up to 60 percent faster than the 13-inch MacBook Air with the M1 chip.
– AI image enhancement using Photomator’s Super Resolution feature is up to 40 percent faster than the M1 model.
– Excel spreadsheet work is up to 35 percent faster.
– Video editing in Final Cut Pro is up to 60 percent faster.

Supported by a diverse range of applications offering advanced AI capabilities, users can accomplish a multitude of tasks, from utilizing AI Math Assistance in Goodnotes 6 for homework checks to automatically enhancing photos with Pixelmator Pro. Leveraging the unified memory architecture of Apple silicon, the MacBook Air is equipped to efficiently execute optimized AI models, including large language models (LLMs) and diffusion models for image generation, all with impressive local performance. Moreover, in addition to its on-device capabilities, the MacBook Air seamlessly integrates with cloud-based solutions, empowering users to access powerful productivity and creative applications leveraging AI, such as Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365, Canva, and Adobe Firefly.

The 13-inch MacBook Air with M3 starts at Rs. 114,900 and Rs. 104,900 for education, and the 15?inch MacBook Air with M3 starts at Rs. 134,900 and Rs. 124,900 for education. Both are available in midnight, starlight, silver, and space grey.
