Lenovo has unveiled the Chromebox Micro media player, at the Digital Signage Experience (DSE). This Chromebox introduces a new dimension to the product line—a sleek and cost-effective media player boasting high performance, proven data security, and simplified remote control and device management through ChromeOS.
As professionals seek intelligent solutions that are economical, secure, and easily deployable at scale, the Lenovo Chromebox Micro addresses these requirements. Crafted for designers, marketers, and infrastructure developers aiming for enhanced engagement and information dissemination, the Chromebox Micro is tailored to fulfill the growing demand for advanced products with remote accessibility for digitized information management.
The Lenovo Chromebox Micro stands out as an ultra-thin, lightweight media player suitable for various kiosk and signage applications. As Lenovo’s first micro form factor Chromebox, it is designed for continuous 24/7 digital display in high-traffic environments. This fanless and ventless ChromeOS compute solution supports dual 4K displays and is compact enough to outsize most smartphones. Equipped with USB-C, USB-A, and HDMI ports, along with screw holes for easy mounting, it accommodates diverse connectivity needs.
Lenovo has partnered with Instorescreen to provide specially designed 15.6-inch and 21.5-inch inFLEX displays for the Chromebox Micro. These displays, featuring high resolution, seamlessly integrate with the Chromebox Micro, ensuring easy access to all ports while offering an integrated appearance. A single cable from a USB-C port enables video, power, and data connectivity for efficient cable management.
Built for scalability, the Lenovo Chromebox Micro is easily managed remotely. The ChromeOS Kiosk and Digital Signage Upgrade enable users to set up and oversee a fleet of kiosk devices. Leveraging ChromeOS zero-touch enrollment expedites the deployment of pre-provisioned devices, enhancing efficiency and ease of use.
The Lenovo Chromebox Micro, along with Instorescreen inFLEX smart displays, is offered by Lenovo OEM Solutions—a dedicated engineering team combining Lenovo hardware with industry-leading OEMs and ISVs to create smarter technology that drives customer success.
