OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro last week and while there’s no doubt that the devices are packed with some serious hardware, the phones were priced on the higher side. At least, in the United States. Over here, in the world’s biggest smartphone market after China, OnePlus has confirmed the price of its latest devices and they are very well priced.
The base variant of the OnePlus 8 with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM will start from Rs. 41,999 and will sell exclusively on Amazon.in. The 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB will be available on all online and offline channels and will set one back for Rs. 44,999 and Rs. 49,999 respectively. There’s no special variant of the OnePlus 8 Pro, which means there are two configurations up for sale for the Pro version. The 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB are priced at Rs. 54,999 and Rs. 59,999 respectively. The Bullets Wireless Z is aggressively priced at Rs. 1,999. Do note, while the prices are out, there’s no confirmation on the date of sale. OnePlus claims the devices will go on sale in May but it could change considering the lockdown in place in India due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
To recap, both OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor and come with 6.55-inch 90Hz and 6.78-inch QHD+ 120Hz screen. Furthermore, there’s a 48MP triple camera setup on the OnePlus 8 while the OnePlus 8 Pro gets a quad-camera setup with 30W fast charging and wireless charge support.
