Here’s some good news for PlayStation Plus subscribers in India. Sony has announced a permanent price cut to the subscription plans, which will come into effect from May 1.
Sony will charge Rs. 2,999, Rs. 1,199 and Rs. 499 for the annual, 3-month and 1-month plan respectively. The current prices of the Sony pins the decision to reduce the price on market conditions, which means it could be a number of things but it it seems Sony is trying to keep it competitive with Microsoft’s Xbox Live Gold service or simply, a case of users moving away after Sony announced the price hike in 2017.
PlayStation Plus subscribers will continue to enjoy the same privileges as before that includes two free games for PS4 every month, 100GB cloud storage, multiplayer support and exclusive discounts.
