OnePlus announced its smart TV name and logo on its forum today. Dubbed as the OnePlus TV, last year the company had initiated a naming contest asking its community to come up with a name for its TV, however, it seems that they settled with a simple name.
On the logo design, OnePlus commented that they were inspired by the ancient Hindu symbol, the mandala, and the famous ancient Greek temple, Heraion of Argos.
And looking closer, you can tell that the we’ve used the same thickness for both logo and the letters to ensure an aesthetics of “symmetry” and “unity”.
Recently, the OnePlus TV had passed through Bluetooth SIG certification. The TV will be available in different screen sizes ranging from 43-inch to 75-inch. Although all screen sizes will not be available in India and few could be country specific. Generally in India sizes from 40-inch to 65-inch are popular, with 55-inch the most preferred size. It is speculated that OnePlus will launch the TVs in India in end of September or October.
