HTC makes a comeback in India with WildFire X

It’s almost a year that HTC has stopped launching phones in India. However, today it announced a comeback via its official licensee InOne Smart Technology and announced the WildFire X smartphone. The WildFire X is a triple camera smartphone and is powered by MediaTek P22 processor. It comes in two variants, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone also supports Micro SD card up to 256GB.

The display of the phone is 6.2-inch with waterdrop notch. The rear cameras are 12-megapixel, 5-megapixel and 8-megapixel with 2X optical zoom. The front camera is 8-megapixel. In terms of battery, it has a 3300mAh with 10W fast charging support. The fingerprint sensor is present at the rear.

WildFire X comes with a feature called MyBuddy. This is a security tool that lets you track the location of your device. It can trigger a loud alarm, share your phone’s live location to your near and dear ones in case of any emergency. Besides this, it also transmits real-time audio or video of the surrounding.

The 3GB RAM version of WildFire X will retail for Rs. 9,999 and the 4GB version for Rs. 12,999. The phone will be available on Flipkart starting 22 August in Sapphire Blue colour. Although the product page is up on Flipkart, the pricing is yet to be revised.
