Amazon launched new devices in its Echo series of smart speakers. The new Echo Dot and Echo Plus now feature a new design and enhancements.

Echo Dot

The new Echo Dot now comes with a fabric design and features powerful sound. The device is available in Charcoal, Heather Gray and Sandstone finish. Like the previous version, the Echo Dot  can be connected to the home theater or other speakers via Bluetooth or 3.5mm audio cable. With Alexa, Echo Dot can provide information on weather, scores or just about anything that you ask for. The pricing for the Echo Dot remains same as the predecessor at Rs. 4,499.

Echo Plus has a new design and an improved sound. It now features a larger 3-inch Neodymium woofer and increased back volume for stronger bass and clearer mids. It comes with a built-in hub to easily setup and control your compatible smart home devices. You can setup smart home devices by just saying “Alexa discover my devices”. Besides this, the new Echo Plus also comes with embedded temperature sensor for controlling and setting up temperature-based routines using other smart home devices.  Echo Plus also features an all-new fabric design and is available in Charcoal, Heather Gray, and Sandstone.  The price of Echo Plus is Rs. 14,999.

A new entrant to the Echo family, the Echo companion device Echo Sub is a sub-woofer for Echo devices. The Echo Sub is down-firing and delivers a 100W deep bass sound through a 6-inch woofer. You can pair it with Echo or Echo Plus. The Echo Sub will retail for Rs. 12,999.

All new Echo devices are available for pre-order on Amazon India starting today. Echo Dot and Echo Plus will start shipping next month. Echo Sub will be available later this year.
