Sony India announced new 4K HDR television series that offer more brightness and higher contrast. As per Sony, the new BRAVIA range makes the best use of 4K HDR by combining the image processor and display device technology.
The new TV range will use Sony’s 4K HDR Processor X1 Extreme. The new models X9500E and X9300E series features Slim Backlight Drive+, that as per Sony is an improved LED Backlight technology allowing more precise accurate local diming control compared to a conventional Backlight Drive.
The highlight of the new X series is that the TVs runs on the latest Android TV version 7.0 (Nougat) with Sony’s exclusive user interface. Sony has also provided direct access keys on the remote for applications like YouTube, NetFlix and Google Play. One can also connect their smartphones to the TV and broadcast their Pictures, Video or Music from the phone.
There are six TVs in the series and are priced in the range of Rs. 200,000 to Rs. 400, 000.
