Xiaomi Redmi Note 4

After selling lakhs of Redmi Note 3 devices, Xiaomi is following up with its aptly named successor, Redmi Note 4. The phone improves on some of the shortcomings of the Redmi Note 3. For instance, the Redmi Note 4 boasts an improved camera with better low-light picture processing.

The metal unibody clad phone comes with Qualcomm’s 14nm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor. In terms of storage and RAM, Xiaomi offers Redmi Note 4 in multiple options, starting from 2GB with 32GB storage for Rs. 9,999, 3GB with 32GB storage for Rs. 10,999 and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage for Rs. 12,999. The phone also comes with hybrid dual-SIM slot, this means you can use a single SIM with a microSD card up to 128GB capacity. The phone runs on MIUI 8.

As for the rest of the hardware, the phone features a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 13-megapixel PDAF camera at the back, 5-megapixel front-facing camera and 4G VoLTE support. The battery is upped at 4100mAh battery that gives an average of 25% increase as compared to the Redmi Note 3. Besides this, Redmi Note 4 offers good thermal performance that keeps the phone cool during gaming as compared to the Redmi Note 3.

The phone will go on sale on Flipkart and Mi.com at 12PM on 23rd Jan.
