As expected, Xiaomi has announced its biggest smartphone till date – Mi Max. It’s actually an oversized Redmi Note 3 with a design and hardware very similar to Xiaomi’s current best selling phone.
Mi Max features a 6.44-inch Full HD display and is powered by a Snapdragon 650 or 652 processor and 3GB/4GB RAM. It has a built-in storage of 32GB/128GB and can be expanded with the hybrid SIM slot that works as a Dual SIM or Single SIM with microSD card. Interestingly, Mi Max has a 16 megapixel camera at the back but is able to record 4K videos unlike the Redmi Note 3. 5 megapixel sensor handles the selfie duty and also comes with a fingerprint sensor, MIUI 8 and a huge 4850mAh battery.
The 3GB variant will go on sale from July 6 for Rs. 14,999 whereas the 4GB variant will sell for Rs. 19,999.
