Galaxy S6 edge

Samsung has announced the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge for the Indian market. Starting from Rs. 49,900, the Galaxy S6 family boasts two devices, including an edge variant that features a dual edged display. The Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 are very much similar when it comes to hardware as both come with Samsung’s 14nm Exynos 7420 64-bit octa-core processor, 3GB LPDDR4 RAM and UFS 2.0 internal memory that offers better performance when compared to a phone with eMMC storage solution.

The phones have a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED Quad HD display, 16 megapixel main camera with OIS, 5 megapixel front facing camera for selfies, 2550mAh (Galaxy S6) and 2600mAh battery (Galaxy S6 edge), built-in wireless charging support and fast charging support that offers a 4 hour of battery backup on a 10 minute charge.

Online and offline retailers are accepting pre-booking of the devices and interested users can pay Rs. 2,000 up front for a delivery on April 10. Users pre-booking the device will also get a free screen replacement in the first year of the purchase, Payback points and lots more.

32GB – Rs. 49,900
64GB – Rs. 55,900
128GB – Rs. 61,900

Galaxy S6 Edge
32GB – Rs. 58,900
64GB – Rs. 64,900
128GB – Rs. 70,900
