As expected, Xiaomi today announced their arrival in the Indian smartphone market with the Mi 3. The flagship device from Xiaomi undercuts the highly competitive smartphone market with a lucrative price of Rs. 13,999 yet packing Nexus 5-like hardware that sells for double the price.
The Mi 3 will be sold exclusively on Flipkart.com from July 22 but interested users can register themselves to buy the device on launch day.
For a sub-Rs. 15,000 price tag, the Mi 3 packs in a 5-inch Full HD 1080p IPS display along with 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800AB processor, 2GB RAM and MIUI V5. Furthermore, the phone comes with a 13 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, HSPA+ support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and 3050mAh battery.
After sales service is of paramount importance for any brand, especially a new one, which is why Xiaomi is addressing the after sales service issue by setting up 35+ service centers across the country with two exclusive Mi service centers in Delhi and Bangalore.
