Samsung has expanded its Android realm with the introduction of yet another Galaxy device called Galaxy Chat. Peculiar thing about the new phone is that it will fill the mid-range segment, feature a physical QWERTY keyboard and more importantly run the latest version of Android 4.0.
The phone is targeted at avid texters and features a dedicated button to access Samsung’s ChatON messenger service. On the hardware front, it comes with 3-inch touchscreen QVGA display, Wi-Fi, 2MP camera, Bluetooth 3.0, microSD card slot and 1200mAh battery.
Galaxy Chat will also run the latest version of TouchWiz similar to one that on Galaxy S III.
The phone will be released later this month in Spain followed by other regions at “competitive price.”
