Nokia India gave us a glimpse of the PureView imaging technology back in April but went MIA until today. At an event in Delhi today, Nokia officially announced the PureView 808 camera phone in India. Priced at Rs. 33,899, PureView 808 is the world’s first smartphone to feature a 41 megapixel sensor that will allow users to capture images in high resolution. Further enhancing its camera prowess is the fast shutter speed and full HD 1080p video recording support with 4X lossless zoom.
To round up the specs, PureView 808 features Nokia Belle OS, 4-inch 640×360 ClearBlack AMOLED display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, NFC, Dolby support, GPS, 16GB internal memory and 1400mAh battery.
