Netbooks with SSD will cost a bit cheaper now. Samsung have announced the development of a low density yet high performance SSD which will be mass produced from September. These SSDs are just 30 percent of the size of 2.5-inch SSDs and are highly cheap and efficient to manufacture.
Users will however, have to suffice themselves with low storage which starts at a paltry 8GB and moves up to 32GB. All the SSDs are MLC based and use SATA II controller module. The drives outdo every other low density SSD which has a reading rate of 90MB/s and write rate varying for each capacity drive.
