Our dreams of flying with a Jetpack will be fulfilled soon. Glenn Martin from New Zealand has developed world’s first practical jetpack dubbed as Martin Jetpack. The Jetpack was demoed at the EAA AirVenture and it drew the largest crowd in the event. Harrison Martin, son of Glenn Martin and testing pilot of the Martin Jetpack didn’t go more than a few feet above the ground but reckons it can go up to 8,000 feet above the ground at a speed of 60mph and can last for a good half an hour.
The Jetpack will sell for $100,000 apiece and requires a special training before the jetpacker can have an aerial view of his surroundings.
