“Excuse me, did you just grope me?” This is what you would read next time…on the victim’s mobile phone (if you tried to grope of course). Japanese game developer Takahashi has developed a JAVA application called as Anti-Groping which when activated can display phrases like “Groping is a crime†or “Shall we head to the police?â€
As groping incidents were rising in crowded Japanese trains, Takahashi saw this as an opportunity to cash in and develop a simple app which can help solve the embarrassment without letting the fellow passengers know. Showing these statements will make the groper alert and he MAY stop doing it.
And yea, it seems that it must be doing the trick for most Japanese people which makes this nifty app in the top 10 mobile downloads.
