Search Engine giant, Google went offline for 15 minutes from 3:45 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday due to a Domain Name System (DNS) problem.
“Google’s global properties were unavailable for a short period of time,” Google spokesman David Krane said on Saturday. “We’ve remedied the problem and access to Google has been restored.”
Krane denied that the problem was caused by a hack or other attack, and only said it was related to the DNS.
Gmail, Google’s e-mail service was also affected by this.
