Windows 7 RC bi-hourly shutdowns start from today

 
Just a heads up to those still using the Release Candidate version of Windows 7. Windows 7 RC will automatically shutdown after every two hours till the expiry of RC in June. An easy and logical way is to of course, install a fresh retail copy of Windows 7.

Samsung Chrome OS netbook releasing this year

 
Another manufacturer has confirmed to bring their Chrome OS netbook later this year. This time it’s Samsung whose Australian unit spilled the beans on its Chrome OS plans.

WSJ: Windows Mobile 7 coming at MWC

 
Wall Street Journal is citing “people familiar with the matter” confirming the Windows Mobile 7 rumor lurking for quite some time. At the MWC next week, Microsoft will finally show off the next-generation of Windows Mobile.
The report does not specify the probable features but claims to have Zune-like UI specifically made for “touch-sensing screens”.
